Prayer Diary

It is to a great and wonderful God that we address our prayers, thanking him for his guidance in our past, seeking his presence in our present and looking for his direction for our future. We thank you Lord for all that is done, all there is still to do and all that awaits us tomorrow and the next day and the next. In an ever changing world make Prayer your bedrock. A promise and a relationship a way to talk to God.

Our prayer is that as you journey through this prayer diary and connect to our people called Methodist right across the length and breadth of the Cape of Good Hope District, which you will together with other experience the power of prayer. That we recognise that our call in the district is to be responsible in our stewardship of the resources we have. Give us wisdom in our decision making. We hear your call generous God upon us to be disciples, people called to a life long journey of learning and growing in our relationship with you.

For together we are a Transforming Discipleship Movement A Christ-healed Africa for the healing of Nations God calls the Methodist people to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ for Healing and Transformation>

Transformation Calls

Our Continuing Goals Of Transformation Are: A deepening spirituality, A resolve to be guided by God’s mission, A re-commitment to environmental justice, A rediscovery of the priesthood of all believers, A commitment “to be one so that the world may believe”, A redefinition and authentication of the vocation of the clergy in the church, A re-emphasis of servant-leadership and discernment as our model for ministry.
